FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Badlands, ND — February 17, 2026 — In response to the recent lawsuit challenging the order to purge our national parks of what has been termed as 'corrosive ideology', our campaign wishes to express its full support for the preservation of our national parks and the diverse range of ideologies that have shaped them.

Our candidate, Theodore Roosevelt, firmly believes in the significance of our national parks as physical representations of our nation's history and diversity. "Our national parks are living, breathing monuments to our shared heritage, embodying a range of ideologies that have collectively shaped our country's narrative over centuries," said Theodore Roosevelt. "To remove such ideologies under a subjective label of 'corrosive' is at odds with the very principles our democracy stands upon."

Built on the bedrock of diversity of thought, our democracy thrives when we respect and honor this diversity. This should be reflected in our national parks, which serve as unique cultural landscapes that encapsulate our nation's journey.

In line with our campaign's commitment to diversity and inclusivity, Theodore Roosevelt has proposed a specific policy to safeguard the integrity of our national parks. This policy aims to enhance federal support for the preservation and improvement of our national parks, ensuring they continue to represent the diverse cultural, historical, and ecological tapestry of our nation.

"We must understand that this order is not just about our national parks. It's about respect for the rule of law, and about upholding checks and balances in governance," Theodore Roosevelt added. "We cannot stand by as such orders threaten to undermine the principles our nation was built on."

Our campaign respects the rule of law and challenges any orders that may not align with our legal standards or the spirit of our Constitution. As such, we will continue to support efforts aimed at preserving our natural and cultural heritage, while challenging actions that threaten to erode these cherished aspects of our national identity.

While we are assertive in our stance, we wish to clarify that our focus is not on being anti-Trump, but rather on the issue at hand. Our aim is not to further divide, but to unite around shared values and a shared respect for our nation's history.

As Theodore Roosevelt often states, "Our national parks are more than just scenic landscapes. They are the soul of our nation, and we must do everything in our power to protect them."

We invite the environmentally-conscious voters, supporters of diversity and inclusivity, legal professionals, and all those concerned about the overreach of executive power to join us in this crucial endeavor.
